Satire is a literary term used to ridicule or make fun of human vice or weakness, often with the intent of correcting, or changing, the subject of the satiric attack.

In the article "The Impotence Of Proofreading" by Taylor Mali, he is satirizing people who spell check their work. He uses words that sound like the ones he should use and he misspells them."You work very horde on a paper for English clash And then get a very glow raid (like a D or even a D=)and all because you are the wordıs liverwurst spoiler." It makes him angry that people spell check and it makes it seem as if people know what they are doing. "But there are several missed aches that a spell chukker canıt canıt catch catch. For instant, if you accidentally leave a word your spell exchequer wonıt put it in you."

In the article from The Onion titled "Massive Flow Of Bullshit Continues To Gush From BP Headquarters" it mentions how the BP company isn't doing anything to contain the massive oil spread in the gulf."This bullshit, it's everywhere," said Louisiana fisherman Doug LaRoux, who lost his house to a tide of government bullshit following Hurricane Katrina. "It reeks. Big buckets of disgusting shit are oozing everywhere you look and I don't know if it's ever going to stop. I feel helpless" Added LaRoux, "I never thought I'd be the victim of so much bullshit."

"Advice to Youth"by Mark Twain 1882 is a speech for the youth he uses satirical words to give advice to the young. "Be respectful to your superiors, if you have any, also to strangers, and sometimes to others. If a person offend you, and you are in doubt as to whether it was intentional or not, do not resort to extreme measures; simply watch your chance and hit him with a brick. That will be sufficient." Its funny how he says to respect your elder but he tells teens that if you get disrespected don't argue hit them with a brick. He uses funny ways to describe to kids how to act and what to do. The story actually convinced the CIA that he was a terrorist from Pakistan funny thing is that the directions on how to build the bomb was published a US satirical magazine. It claims that a nuclear weapon can be made using a bicycle pump and with liquid uranium poured into a bucket and swung around.Even though it was clearly seen that it was a joke the CIA still thought he was planing an attack.

Reading Satirical Articles Can Get You Tortured, Sent To Gitmo By Cernig In the article from NewsHoggers they talk about a British resident who was held at Guantanamo Bay was identified as a terrorist after confessing he had visited a joke website on how to build a nuclear weapon. Binyam Mohamed a former UK asylum seeker admitted to having read the instructions after allegedly being beaten hung up by his wrists for a week and having a gun held to his head in a Pakistani jail.

In conclusion satire is a literary term used to ridicule or make fun of human vice or weakness, often with the intent of correcting, or changing, the subject of the satiric attack. In each article i read satire is a part of it. In some way the articles makes you laugh and makes fun of news that we here about today.
